A downloadable game

I joined the Commander X16 retro computer community to learn how to make an authentic 8-bit game on systems from the 1980s (Commodore 64, Apple II, NES). Before this, I had no programming knowledge and so I spent last  summer learning BASIC. I then used BASIC to make this game. It was the perfect exercise to combine programming, design, pixel art, chiptune music and storytelling. The result is an overproduced Rock Paper Scissor game that I am extremely proud of.

To play the game, visit the URL below. At the bottom of the page, you'll have the option to play the game in the browser or downloading the source files and running the game on a local version of the X16 emulator.

Try to beat the game, there's an unexpected twist at the end!
